We are gearing up for some big site changes! So be sure to check back.
I made a banner above my website (still not online) and I think I like it, perhaps another photograph. But the banner is not responsible on small devices. Beside not very nice, I think google doesn’t like it this way for its algorithm and I will give me less readers.
Is it some how possible to get it done with the theme Bakerista Pro?
By the way: thanks of the new tip on your blog!
With kind regards
Hello There Carola,
What size is your banner? The most common mobile friendly size for an image is 320px in width. You can make the height what ever you wish, but for best results the image should not exceed 320px in width.
As for your concern pertaining to Google. Yes, all websites now need to be mobile friendly our it will critically hurt your ranking in the Google search engine. However, all of our themes are mobile friendly and because the mobile friendly aspect of our theme’s design just ends up cutting the access off the image if not the correct size, so it will still appear mobile friendly.
Carola, you are very welcome for the new tip! I have no clue as to why they included that pesky text in the new upgrade to being with. It’s more of a nuisance than anything.
Hope this was helpful.
